About Europe Entry Tools
Free calculators and plain-English guides for non-Europeans visiting, touring or moving to Europe.
Why this site exists
Europe's border rules are changing more than they have in decades. The Entry/Exit System replaced passport stamps in April 2026, ETIAS is still coming, and the 90-days-in-180 rule catches out long-term travellers every year. The rules sit across EU regulations, Commission pages and national immigration sites. Europe Entry Tools turns them into9 quick tools that answer the question for your own trip, with guides that explain the rest.
How we keep it accurate
- Every number a tool uses comes from a published source, listed at the bottom of each tool page.
- We prefer official sources such as EU law, the European Commission, national immigration authorities and consulates, and say when a source is an independent guide.
- When something is not decided yet, such as the ETIAS start date, we say so instead of guessing.
- We re-check every tool against its sources each month. The date of the last check is shown on each tool.
- Calculators run in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to us or stored.
What this site is not
Europe Entry Tools is independent and is not part of, or endorsed by, the European Union or any government. It does not sell ETIAS applications or visas. When ETIAS opens, apply only on the official EU website or app. Results are estimates to help you plan, not legal or immigration advice. Border guards and consulates make the final decision.
